San Diego International Airport: one of the fastest-growing airports in the country!

There were more than 11 million passenger boardings at San Diego International Airport in 2017 – the airport’s seventh consecutive year of traffic growth. SAN added 10% more departing seats between 2016-17 and 2017-2018, making it the 8th-fastest growing mid-sized airport in the US. The MTS route 992 bus runs from Broadway and Park BI to the airport in 19 minutes, leaving at 15 to 30-minute intervals. In addition, there are plenty of taxi and limo firms serving the airport, as well as several Ride Share companies (curbside drop-off at Terminals 1 and 2).
