Lebanon boasts a particularly warm and sunny Mediterranean climate. Long, loose and flowing clothes are best, avoid uncovering your arms and legs when visiting religious sites. You can use a large shawl or scarf to cover up if necessary, if you get chilly in the evening, or as a sarong. On the beach, one-piece swimming costumes are preferred for women and long shorts for men. Remember to bring your hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
