    Venice is home to the world-renowned Carnival, the yearly festival that culminates on the day before Ash Wednesday, Shrove Tuesday. It’s simply one of the best times to visit if as the city comes alive with costume-filled parties. Aside from the carnival days, Venice is also worth a visit on other times of the year. In particular, the months April through May and September through October remain popular to tourists as temperatures are pleasant with an average high of 21 °C, meaning it’s not too hot or not too cold. These months also offer fewer tourists, making the city’s canals less congested as compared to high peaks months such as June and July.

    How to get from Venice Marco Polo airport to the city center?

    If you want to get to the Venice city center from the airport right after your Air France flight Los Angeles Venice, you can take the bus #5, which will bring you directly to the Piazzale Roma. The Marco Polo Airport is approximately 8 km from Venice’s city center and the entire trip, several stops including, takes more or less 30 to 45 minutes. A quicker bus option is the ATVO, also known as the Venetian Express, which brings passengers to the center directly without stops.
