Offering an unmatched experience, Venice is certainly on the list of one of the must-travel places in the world. It is known for its stunning canals and bridges, but, aside from that, the city is host to many events such as the Canrival and the Venice Biennale that gives travelers even more unique experiences to discover. Here are two of our favorite things to do in the city:

  • Come for the carnival: Mask on for Venice! During carnival season, the city becomes a place of celebrations, where balls and events liven up the town. Come for the party or just to see the elaborate masks or costumes!
  • Make time for art: Contemporary art takes center stage in Venice, where it hosts numerous established and up-and-coming artists, actors, architects, and other creatives every two years. If you can’t make it for the Biennale, a visit to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection to explore modern art from Pollock, Mondrian, Koons, and Picasso to name a few.
