How to reach the centre of Florence from the airport?

Travellers from San Francisco (SFO) to Florence (FLR) can easily reach the city centre as it is only 2.5 miles away. To do so, simply hop on an airport shuttle that will take you to Santa Maria Novella station. They come every 30 minutes from 5.30 am to 8.30 pm every day. Travel time is 25 minutes.

You could also book a taxi from the airport, or rent a vehicle for the duration of your stay. There are lots of car rental agencies at the airport, but we recommend that you book in advance.
