The Air France Los Angeles - Paris flight touches down in Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport. There are two railway stations, both connected to all terminals by the CDGVAL shuttle rail system. The RER B service runs about every 15 minutes and stops at both stations, continuing to major Paris stations like Gare du Nord and St Michel. Los Angeles residents will find Paris a little cooler at all times of the year, especially during the winter. Although at its busiest during the summer, the French capital can be almost quiet at peak domestic holiday period (mid-August), whilst all major attractions are still open. There are generally fewer tourists around outside of the main European vacation period (July and August), with June boasting the Fête de la Musiqueday and September the European Open Heritage Days.
France’s most visited attractions are all found in the Paris area, including Disneyland Paris, the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles and the Eiffel Tower.
